'Tis the Season

'Tis the season for Christmas movie watching...

Here are my top 10 (in no particular order)...

1. Elf - "I like to smile. Smiling's my favorite."

2. Home Alone 1 and 2 (I'm counting series as 1...) - "You can mess with a lot of things, but you can't mess with kids on Christmas."

#3 - The Holiday - "I have found almost everything ever written about love to be true. Shakespeare said, journeys end in lovers meeting. What an extraordinary thought."

4. Flintstones Christmas Carol - "Well Scrooge, it sounds like your daughter needs her diaper changed. Uh sorry Wilma, I need to rehearse."

5. Christmas with the Kranks - "You're skipping Christmas! Isn't that against the law?"

6. The Santa Clause Movies (I like them all, but #1 is my favorite.) - "Seeing isn't believing. Believing is seeing."

7. Four Christmases - "My childhood was just like Shawshank Redemption, except I didn't have some old, warm black man to share my story with."

8. A Christmas Story - "You'll shoot your eye out kid."

9. The Polar Express - "Seeing is believing, but sometimes the most real things in the world are the things we can't see."

10. My absolute most favorite Christmas movie is A Charlie Brown Christmas. - "Sure Charlie Brown. I can tell you what Christmas is all about... And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were so afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for behold, I bring unto you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the City of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host, praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men."

This was just my top 10 list. There are many more Christmas movies I like, such as...
